Our philosophy is that the animals give their lives for us; in turn, we are respectful and never wasteful. Matt Byrne and Chris Donati are the driving force behind SunFed Ranch, representing the youngest generation of families that each trace their roots in California ranching back more than 100 years. We partner with other SunFed Ranch family ranchers to grow the highest quality grass fed beef possible in a way that sustains the land, the cattle and our families’ ranching businesses for the long term.
SunFed Ranch and our cattle are part of nature’s cycle. As environmental stewards, we are committed to caring for our open spaces, watersheds, native plants and wildlife—today and for future generations. For many years, SunFed Ranch families have been nourished by the sun to grow beef in balance with the land, the plants and the wild life that make our grasslands their home.
Open Space Meat
Open Space Meats is made up of Seth and Mica Nitschke. We are family ranchers here in beautiful central California. At Open Space Meats we work with great respect for the environment and with the cattle in our care. We never use hormones, antibiotics or feed grains to our cattle. We don’t use herbicides, pesticides or commercial fertilizers on our pastures. And our cattle are grown and finished 100% on pasture.

Devil's Gulch Ranch, a diversified family farm located in Nicasio, Marin County, within California’s North Coast region, produces rabbits, pigs, sheep, premium wine grapes and asparagus for retail customers and direct sales to high-quality restaurants. Sustainable, humane agricultural practices are utilized, organic whenever possible.
